If you have joined a World Cup pick'em pool and unsure how it works, this help article is for you

1. Objective

Your objective is to correctly predict the outcome of every matchup during the World Cup. Once the Knockout Stage matches are determined, they will appear shortly after on the picking schedule.

2. Pick Cutoff

OfficePools employs a rolling deadline for Pick'em. This means that the cutoff is based on the individual match. Therefore, picks can be made or changed right up until the start of the respective match.

3. Points per correct prediction

Group Stage: 1 pt Win, 1 pt Draw

Round of 16: 2 pts Win

Quarter-Finals: 4 pts Win

Semi-Finals: 8 pts Win

Final: 16 pts Win

**NOTE - We are NOT including the Third Place match in the competition

4. Next Round Matches

Because you are predicting the outcome of the actual matches (not predicting an outcome prior to the tournament) - you will have the next round's matches available for selection shortly after the current round ends. So you will need to come back!
